The timing could not be more perfect - we’re in the midst of launching our newest Greenhouse office in Denver at the same time as Denver Startup Week (DSW) - a celebration of everything entrepreneurial in Denver! The weather is cooling, the aspen leaves are changing into a beautiful shade of gold, and we’re energized by the buzz of innovation brought on by the 19,000 attendees and 375 events of #DenStartupWeek. It’s a conglomeration of all the things we love at Greenhouse - collaboration, open-mindedness, and ambition.
Denver was a logical choice for us to launch our third Greenhouse office, with Customer Support as the pioneering team here. There is an exciting amount of tech innovation happening and combined with a deep talent pool it made sense to bring on a new team of customer-facing product experts who help customers maximize their investment in the Greenhouse product suite. I often hear that our Customer Support Specialists are “the best thing about Greenhouse,” especially when customers receive lightning fast in-app support through chat.
Although I have lived in Denver for the last decade, I am relatively new to Greenhouse. I came on board in June of this year as the Director of Customer Support to lead the team and serve as the Denver site director as we shape our new Greenhouse outpost. We’ll start with a small team of Customer Support Specialists and Support Managers with plans to expand the Denver office throughout 2019 and 2020. The office will launch in a space at Union Station - the heart of downtown. And of course we are using our own Greenhouse Recruiting platform so I am confident we’ll hire the best talent in Denver. Hiring is incredibly important to our customers, so it is important to us to have a knowledgeable, caring, and passionate Customer Support team. I have no doubt Denver will continue that tradition.
Our co-founder and CEO, Daniel Chait, is just as excited as I am.
“Greenhouse is growing fast - we were recently named one of Inc. Magazine’s 5000 fastest growing companies,” Daniel said. “One effect of this much growth is that we need to deliver support across more and more time zones and regions, particularly for our large enterprise customers. With Denver being a growing tech and innovation hub, it is the right choice for our next U.S.-based office. We’re excited to offer our global customers of all sizes a growing Customer Support team.”
As for future expansions, we’ll move into a larger office in Denver in early 2019, and we are already ramping up a team in Europe who will extend our support hours to better align with our European customers. It’s an exciting time to support customers who are using Greenhouse to transform their hiring practices!
