Greenhouse is looking for a Corporate Development Manager to join the team! This person will play a critical role in driving M&A, strategic investments, and corporate initiatives that accelerate our growth. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development & Analytics, you will work closely with senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, conduct financial and strategic analysis, and execute transactions. The ideal candidate will be a committed team player who will be instrumental in developing and executing the long-term strategic growth plan for Greenhouse.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure that the Greenhouse Leadership Team’s strategic plan is reflected in execution and financial outcomes.
  • Support the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence to valuation, deal execution, and post-merger integration.
  • Support the long-term planning process by providing structure, analysis and accountability that enables investment prioritization and execution by senior leadership.
  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis (DCF, LBO, comparables) for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
  • Analyze SaaS-specific KPIs (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.) to assess target companies and industry trends.
  • Assist in corporate strategy and long-term financial planning to optimize growth and market positioning.
  • Continually stress-test the Buy, Build or Partner decision matrix.
  • Develop corporate competitive and cooperative intelligence and maintain relationships with peers among our partners, potential targets and competitors. 
  • Support any fundraising and capital structure strategy and execution alongside the VP of Corporate Development & Analytics.
  • Partner with FP&A and Data Analytics to develop financial and operational benchmarking to help drive company performance.  
  • Drive automation and process improvement efforts within the Finance function. 

 

You should have

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, management consulting, business intelligence, investment banking (ideally TMT coverage), strategic operations, private equity, or venture capital. Additional experience in Corporate Development/Strategy or financial operations within a tech/SaaS company is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with expert financial modeling skills and ability to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and financial plans.
  • Experience with M&A transactions (deal structuring, due diligence, execution).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with senior leaders (i.e. executives, investors, or board members).
  • Superior story-telling and data visualization capabilities.
  • A track record of thriving in fast paced environments.
  • Ability to get up to speed credibly on new topics.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage complex projects across multiple teams.
  • High energy, high integrity leadership style with a positive outlook, collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience working with private, VE/PE backed tech or SaaS companies is a plus but not required.
  • Prior involvement in growth equity fundraising or IPO readiness is a plus but not required.

The national pay range for this role is $139,000 - $170,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.

The anticipated closing date for this role is April 11, 2025.
