Executive Leadership Team
Daniel Chait is CEO and Co-founder of Greenhouse. As a technology entrepreneur for over 22 years, Daniel’s firsthand experience leading people and recruitment showed him the value that a modern platform to structure and automate the hiring process could bring to businesses. He has presented at numerous conferences and events on the topics of recruiting and entrepreneurship, including General Assembly, Cannes Lions, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Davos and the University of Michigan Center for Entrepreneurship. Daniel graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in computer engineering (#GoBlue!).
Jon Stross is President and Co-founder of Greenhouse. At Greenhouse, Jon drives product strategy and works closely with customers and partners to build a platform that improves hiring performance. Before founding Greenhouse, Jon served as General Manager of International at BabyCenter.com and was responsible for the global rollout of the business. Jon has a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan.
Samir Joglekar is the Greenhouse Chief Revenue Officer. He has over 30 years of experience leading software sales organizations across various industries, with deep expertise in identifying and driving strategic initiatives and best practices to support sales objectives. He spent over 20 years at Dell Technologies and Apple, Inc. in a variety of business development, sales and sales leadership roles in the US and EMEA, and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Biology from George Washington University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from John Hopkins University.
Jung is Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Greenhouse where she manages all legal and compliance matters. Prior to Greenhouse, she served as Chief Legal Officer at Druva and in various roles at Apple and Broadcom, focusing on strategic transactions and corporate governance. She received her B.A. from Cornell University and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, cum laude and Order of the Coif.
Henry Tsai is Chief Product Officer at Greenhouse where he drives product strategy and execution. He leads people and customer solutions with empathy, and validates decisions with a data-driven approach. Prior to joining Greenhouse, Henry worked in leadership positions at SAP, building AI/ML solutions for Intelligent Spend Management, and at Hotwire.com (an Expedia company), running Flights, Cars, and CarRentals.com products. Henry received his B.A. in economics from the University of California, Irvine, and holds a patent for configurable entity matching systems.
Carin van Vuuren is Chief Marketing Officer at Greenhouse where she is responsible for driving business growth through a focus on go-to-market strategy, brand management and corporate communication. Prior to joining Greenhouse, Carin was a Partner at CapGemini Consulting, and CMO of Fahrenheit 212, an innovation consultancy. Additionally, she is a marketing advisor to startup tech founders. Carin earned her undergraduate degree in languages and marketing from the Nelson Mandela University in South Africa.
Andrew currently serves as the Head of Technology at Greenhouse, contributing his expertise as an integral part of the executive leadership team. Prior to his role at Greenhouse, he held diverse leadership positions, co-founded companies, provided advisory services and worked in software engineering across various industries. His comprehensive career journey has equipped him with a rich and versatile background, which he brings to his role as Head of Technology at Greenhouse.
Paul Todgham is the Chief Financial Officer at Greenhouse. For the past four years, he served as CFO at Cognex Corp (NASDAQ: CGNX), leading the company’s global finance, sales operations and information technology organizations. Prior to joining Cognex in 2020, he spent six years at Levi Strauss & Co. (NYSE: LEVI), where he held a range of senior leadership positions, and previously served as Vice President of Finance for Ross Stores, Inc., (NASDAQ: ROST) and as an advisor at The Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from Stanford University, an MPhil in economics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.
Board of Directors
Francisco Alvarez-Demalde joined the Greenhouse Board of Directors in 2018. He is the Co-founder and Co-managing Partner of Riverwood Capital, which is one of the largest early investors in Greenhouse. Before starting Riverwood Capital, Francisco worked with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., where he focused on private equity investments in the technology industry and other sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad de San Andrés, Argentina, which included an exchange program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Astha Malik joined the Greenhouse Board of Directors in 2019 and is the Chief Business Officer at Braze. She brings more than 20 years of experience building brands, driving innovation and accelerating revenue growth. Prior to Braze, she served as Chief Operating Officer of VTEX and held leadership positions at Zendesk, Citrix, Sumo Logic and PagerDuty. Astha also serves on the board of Everlaw, a leading ediscovery platform.
Emily Rollins is a Board member and Audit Committee Chair at Greenhouse. Prior to this role, Emily worked in various positions at Deloitte where she served technology and media companies and guided hundreds of clients through complex audit and reporting processes. Emily currently serves on the boards of several public and private technology companies and non-profit organizations. Emily is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. degree in accounting and international relations from Claremont McKenna College.
Anilu Vazquez-Ubarri is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at TPG and is a member of TPG Inc.’s Board of Directors. She previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer of the firm. She also currently serves as a director on the board of Greenhouse, Upwork Inc. and several non-profit companies. Prior to joining TPG in 2018, Anilu worked at Goldman Sachs where she was most recently the firm’s Global Head of Talent and Chief Diversity Officer. Anilu received a Bachelor of Arts in history and Latin American Studies, cum laude, from Princeton University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
Mike Zappert is a Partner at TPG where he leads technology investing and strategy across the platforms TPG Growth and The Rise Fund. Mike currently serves on the board of Greenhouse as well as other TPG investments: Everlaw, Onfido and MX. He is also actively involved with TPG’s investment in Salsify and project44. Prior to joining TPG, Mike was a Partner at Adams Street Partners, and he previously held various roles at 3i and Credit Suisse. Mike received a B.A. in economics with Honors and an M.S. in management science and engineering from Stanford University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Steve Ellis is a Co-managing Partner at TPG’s The Rise Fund and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Greenhouse. Prior to joining TPG in 2015, Steve was the CEO of Asurion and the Global Managing Partner for Bain & Company. Steve is a trustee for the UC Berkeley Foundation and serves on the boards of Charles Schwab, LiveKindly, InStride, UBQ Materials, Renaissance Learning, Persefoni and Teachers of Tomorrow. Steve is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley and Stanford Business School, where he is a regular guest lecturer.
