Greenhouse’s Modern Slavery Act Statement

The United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires businesses to publish a statement specifying the efforts taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking anywhere in their own business or their supply chain for each financial year of the organization. This statement constitutes Greenhouse Software, Inc.’s Modern Slavery Act statement for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.

GREENHOUSE

Greenhouse is a hiring software company that helps companies source, hire and onboard top talent, with tools that help them make more fair and data-based decisions. Founded in 2012, as a global company with a robust distributed workforce of skilled employees, Greenhouse supports thousands of customers around the globe that rely on Greenhouse’s best-in-class talent acquisition platform to execute scalable structured hiring processes, reduce bias, and deliver insightful data that makes hiring their strategic advantage.

Greenhouse is committed to ensuring that it conducts its business ethically, humanely, and with the utmost integrity, and it therefore stands in staunch opposition to modern slavery, a concept that encapsulates forced labor, deprivation of personal freedom, and human trafficking and exploitation. We expect our supply chain (whether direct suppliers or those that directly or indirectly supply our direct suppliers) and customers to share the same values. Given the nature of Greenhouse’s business and operations, we consider the risk of modern slavery arising in our operations to be low.

GREENHOUSE’S SUPPLY CHAIN

We also believe that the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain is low. A majority of our supplier relationships are with those who provide software and information technology services, commercial office space, and professional services like investment banking, legal, and accounting services. Given the nature of the suppliers and the services provided and given that we have received information from many of our vendors about the steps they have taken in relation to the eradication of modern slavery from their own supply chain, we believe that the risk of modern slavery at these suppliers is minimal with respect to the services that they provide to us.

GREENHOUSE CULTURE AND POLICIES

Greenhouse maintains rigorous hiring practices and allows significant transparency into our employment practices, as well as robust policies that provide for the fair treatment of our employees. We are committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all employees, and our core company values expressly embrace diversity, belonging, and inclusivity. We seek to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for all employees, and our robust policies, which are accessible on Greenhouse’s intranet, requires employees to treat one another with dignity and respect, and explicitly prohibits any sort of harassment, bullying, or unlawful discrimination. Our Employee Concern Policy also sets forth the grievance process by which any employee may report a violation of law or our policies, and the steps by which such a complaint would be investigated and addressed.

Additionally, we have taken steps to assess and manage any risk that our supply chain may use forced labor. Where we contract with suppliers in relation to products or services, we do so with reputable suppliers. We review all such contracts and seek to tailor the terms to the risks presented by the vendor and contract performance. We also have a compliance team which is made up of representatives from legal, human resources, security, and accounting.

GREENHOUSE’S FUTURE

Greenhouse will continue to remain vigilant and will review our procurement processes periodically to ensure that our zero-tolerance policy towards slavery, unlawful child labor and human trafficking is upheld.
