Announcing Greenhouse’s partnership with HR open source

I’m thrilled to announce Greenhouse’s official partnership with HR Open Source, a knowledge sharing community bringing open source learning to HR and recruiting. HROS democratizes access to innovative and cutting-edge practices, making it easy for recruiting and talent teams to access the knowledge, peers, and resources needed to thrive.
Greenhouse’s mission is to help companies navigate the changing world of work. Becoming a gold sponsor (and the first sponsor!) of HROS was a no-brainer for us—the work they’re doing is instrumental in helping companies do this, too.
We all know that the world of work is changing at lightning speeds. Companies must adapt in order to succeed, but the path to building a winning hiring culture is not always straightforward.
For example, data is playing an increasingly large role in recruiting, but there is no one-size-fits all approach to how to use it. New innovations are appearing every day. Just last week, I had the pleasure of hearing how data analysts at MongoDB use Python to export their Greenhouse recruiting data into Google Docs to make real-time dashboards for the executive team.
That’s awesome.
Winning companies are coming up with new ideas and innovations like this every day. The best way to accelerate this movement is to shine a bright light on it and encourage everyone to share their innovations with each other. That’s exactly where HROS comes in. They’re focused on helping practitioners by creating a global community dedicated to making insights, case studies, templates, and resources accessible—all at no cost. After all, the community is greater than the individual. When you can harness the collective experience of thousands of practitioners, real progress happens.
I’m excited to be a part of this movement and look forward to seeing the impact of joining forces. As the HROS website states, “Every voice matters. Share yours.”
We look forward to continuing sharing ours, and encouraging our customers’ to do the same, with the global HROS community.
P.S. Check out some of my favorite case studies from a couple of our customers!
